【Appearance】: White crystalline liquid.
【Application】: Fluroxypyr is effective by post-emergence foliar application, controlling a range ofeconomically important broad-leaved weeds (including Galium aparine) in allsmall grain crops, and Rumex spp. and Urtica dioica in pastures. Directedapplications are used against herbaceous and woody broad-leaved weeds inorchards (apple only) and plantation crops (rubber and oilpalm), andbroad-leaved brush spp. in conifer forests. Post-emergence, broadcastapplications of fluroxypyr in maize up to the 6-leaf stage of the crop are usedfor control of Calystegia sepium, Convolvulus arvensis and Solanum nigrum. Themeptyl and 2-butoxy-1-methylethyl esters have similar activity, the advantageof the latter being the wider range of formulation options that are available.
